Learn from peers at RazorHack's Jeopardy-Style CTF. A Jeopardy-style CTF is a common format for cyber competitions. Challenges are organized into categories (web security, cryptography, etc.). Each category has multiple challenges worth different point values.

There will be a variety of puzzles and an escape room hosted by Idaho National Labs to complete for points. The top 3 wins are eligible for cash prizes and awards.
RazorHack kicks off with an opening ceremony. The banquet venue for 2025 will take place at the Verizon Ballroom at the University of Arkansas Union. Join us for a night of food, music, and drinks. Participants will have the opportunity to network without the pressure of competition.
Doors open at the Verizon Ballroom at the Arkansas Union. A light breakfast and coffee will be available. Use this time to find your spot and get your laptop/workstations set up.
The games will open after a brief announcement from the lead gamemaster. Instructions will be given on how the games work. Gamemasters are available throughout the competition for questions.
The competition will pause for an hour to allow participants to get lunch and sit back down. Lunch will be provided. Please me mindful of dietary needs. The RazorHack team cannot make any guarantees we can meet dietary restrictions.

RazorHack is a 3-day cybersecurity competition that takes place each fall in Northwest Arkansas. The competition is aimed at college students studying technical degrees and cybersecurity professionals. The challenges are in a CTF-style format. The challenge categories include network scanning, social engineering, reverse engineering, binary exploitation, hash cracking, SCADA, locking picking and more.

Click one of the register buttons on our website. Tickets are discounted for students and IEEE members. The tickets cover participation in the CTF game and access to the opening banquet. The tickets also cover lunch, dinner, snacks, energy drinks, and coffee during the competition. A t-shirt is also included in the purchase of a ticket.
Participants compete in teams of 4. We allow teams of 3, but highly recommend 4. We do not accept registrations from solo participants unless we are confident we can place them on a team. Solo participants should reach out to Evan Glover at emglover@ieee.org before attempting to register.
Yes, RazorHack includes an opening banquet which is dedicated to eating good food and networking with others. There is ample time to network during the competition as well. Some challenges permit and encourage different teams to work together.
Then venue is the Verizon Ballroom at the University of Arkansas Union. The Verizon Ballroom will be used for the opening banquet and the competition venue. The address of the venue is 435 Garland Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701.
Parking is available at the Union Parking garage on campus. Parking will be free during the opening banquet and competition times. RazorHack signage at the entrance to the Union from the parking garage will direct you where to go to get to the competition space.
One good option for a hotel is the Staybridge Suites located at 1577 W 15th Street in Fayetteville. Another option is the Hampton Inn located at 915 Krupa Dr in Fayetteville. Both hotels are within 10-15 minute drive of the competition venue.
